The bell rang at the end of the class just like it does any other day but this time it marked the last day of school, everyone was on their way to the mall, the beach, Stelle's bar or who knows where, everyone except for me, Alice Montgomery. Everyone seems to love summer breaks and I really don't know why, you just get to spend boring and eternal hours at home with your mom over you the whole day and your brother is always fluttering around you. However, if there is something I like from summer breaks is that I don't have to go to school. The truth is that I've never done something for summer breaks well, I think we went to visit my grand parents like three years ago but nothing besides that.
I was arriving home when I saw my mother standing on the front door and she was looking for something in her purse when she looked at me.
"Alice sweetie!" she said, "I'm glad you're home! We need to go to the supermarket
and then we have to drive Mike to his soccer practice."
"Mom!" i said, "But I'm tired and I just got back from school and I want to go to take a
nap."
"Come on sweetie! You have the whole summer break to take a nap!" she said, "I'll get you an ice cream if you come with me, what do you say, huh?"
"Ok let's go" I agreed while I was heading to the car.
My mom, Alisa, is a very beautiful lady even though she's 38 and Mike is my worst nightmare he is always bothering me and he's always blaming me for what he's done and I'm just a normal 17 year old. My parents split when I was 10 and then he moved somewhere close to the beach but, I don't really talk to him unless it's my birthday or christmas.
When we arrived at the supermarket Mike started jumping around and asking mom to buy everything he saw, that was annoying.
"Stop it Mike! You're not getting anything!" my mom said, she was angry.
"Mom!" he yelled "Hurry up! I need to go to my soccer practice!"
"Mike" she said seriously "You are driving me mad and if you don't control yourself I'm not taking you anywhere."
